Witchlore or some such area

Post by agnari »

got there, got to the top and the leader had nothing to say

would appear some NPC was supposed to give me a quest involving this place that I failed to discover. otherwise the place seems to serve no purpose other then the challenge of getting to it and up it.

any of you that have finished have a clue as to what i missed?

You need to talk to a guy named Korren first, and do a quest for him (and another character that you saw back in Book I). After you complete Korren's quest, he and that other guy will give you what you need to talk to the Lorewitch lady...

HTH! :)

i'm hoping the 'other guy' is the mage wandering around in the room with Korren.

if so i see what my error was. I taked to both at the same time and got the talk to sparrow quest. finished the sparrow quest and returned. at which point the 'other mage toon' refused to talk to me. so now i'll hold off talking to the second one till after sparrow.

and IF the 2nd toon isn't the mage, then please don't be so ambigious as ..another toon seen in book I. i may have never DONE book I, it could have been 2 or 3 years ago and only did once or twice not dozens of times thus don't have the first, middle, last name of each NPC tattooed into my memory

There's no need to be rude about it... he was just trying to offer assistance without giving away too much and/or he could't remember the guy's name either but remembered him from Book I.

that was NOT meant to be rude, there was no swearing shouting or threats in the remark. only wanted to be prefectly clear very subtle hints would only delay the procress IE posting of a subtle hint NOT understood so then I'd have to post another please just tell me who...

I really don't know what IJBall is trying to say, either.

I've met Korren and the mage with him, and they send me to speak to Sparrow. Except I already met and killed Sparrow, so they send me to the mines.

Is Lorewitch for after the mines, then? Or did I miss something at Lorewitch because I never had a chance to talk to Sparrow?

Ah, ok, thanks!
Of course, this means it'll be staying in Slot 3 of my Portal for a while. :|
