These two spells are 'stackable' in a way I don't believe they were in Book I (I have to go back and check that to make sure...)

But I'm pretty sure the visual effect used to represent this in Book II is different (I think the colors/shades used may be different when the two spells are used together...) - the 'stackability' of these two spells is much more noticeable onscreen in Book II than it was in Book I.
