Re: Eschalon: Book II Reviews!
Popular French game magazine "Canard PC" has reviewed Book II and gave it 9/10!
Here is a shot of the cover of the magazine. Now if only I could figure out how to get a copy.

Re: Eschalon: Book II Reviews!
I dont like review sites taking advertising money from the very game companies they are reviewing games for. Its a freaking conflict of interest. There needs to be some rules against that kind of practice. I get really tired of seeing high reviews for games that don't deserve it. You really shouldn't be considering advertising with sites that are reviewing your game from a ethical perspective.

Game Debate is the only website that asked for a copy of the game for review and in the same email asked if we'd care to spend some of our advertising budget with them. I said I would consider them as a possibility for advertising.
I wonder if the review would have been better had I bought some banner space from them.
Re: Eschalon: Book II Reviews!
About CanardPC article: Well it gaves 8/10, not 9/10 but the article is very good.
I'll scan the article during the day, if nobody else does it.

I love the conclusion :
"If you're still not sure about paying 25$ for the game, download the demo, and you'll soon buy it"

Why don't you send them that one you made at the gate of Port Kuudad to convince the guards to let you inside.CrazyBernie wrote:Oh no... don't make me start captioning screenshots again. 0_o

Hah!
Now there's the screenshot I've been looking for!
EDIT:
Although, truthfully, it is, like you said, rather more than just a little too small for adequate wallpaper purposes (and you can't blow it up (no pun intend, honest) without ruining the image) . . . besides which the caption, though funny as hell, doesn't quite work in wallpaper context.

Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.
