Ok I have the four bells, but am missimg Reul's book. I did the wendy quest early on and returned her letter to her from Reul's house, but I dont remember her giving me a book. Did I choose a wrong speech option when I returned the letter to her? I may have even misplaced it somewhere it was many hours and eschalon weeks ago but really dont remember her giving me it. Whatever I cant find it. Is this egg screwed?

Wendy doesn't give you the book. You may have noticed a room in Ruel's house that had no doors, and a weird poem on the wall about the power of bronze. That gets you the book (and a bit of other stuff) when you figure out what it means. You can search the forums for an answer if you don't want to think too hard about it.
