Trying to go up the skills list on the level up screen also highlights the exit character editor button.

I also don't seem to get notified when an enemy flees any more, either.

One more thing: if you don't talk to the dying Orakur in Talushorn, you still have the dialogue option with Korren as if you had.

Here would be best. After we release the final version of 1.04, you can submit new bugs into the appropriate forum again.

kk - One thing a couple folks have noticed on the Linux version is that the "dice" icon on the New Character screen doesn't seem to actually do anything; the stats don't get re-rolled.

Well, another thing is that the linux version still requires glibc 2.11
I can understand it is tedious to install another system/chroot just for the compile though. And my workaround still works.

And apart from the dice not working on character creation, the mouse-over on several items produces numbers, instead of the text (male just is 1, female gives text which is about males, nor' lander gives number 2, barrean gives the female description, etc).

I never visited lower ironpool dam with my char, but even with the 1.04a beta, I cannot go to westwillow (and the savegame still has a capital W in there). I will try with a completely new char to confirm this has not been fixed.

I know why this problem exists...are you sure you are using 1.04a? Did you just copy the new app over, and not all the new data files? this oddity would occur if you had the new 1.04a application running with an old datapak.

Fixed for 1.04b. This problem affects all platforms.

Right. My bad. The fix I use to run on older glibc systems makes eschalon forget its directory. Apparently this is not configurable within eschalon, so I linked the datafiles in the alternative dynamic loader directory. But I forgot to update the links. duh...

This also fixes the westwillow problems. So apart from the dice and the fleeing message, all seems fine so far.

One thing I suspect being bugged though is the number of turns that the boreheads stun me. It seems that if I press space very quickly 4 times, only 1 turn passes for the enemy. I need to do some further testing on this.
