Re: Screenie.
I'm sure the townfolk will be blown away by your exuberance.
Re: Screenie.
Moments later, someone dropped a vial of demon oil.
They say you could see the explosion as far as Port Kuudad.

Bernie: Unless you have a portal spell handy (well... I guess Quick Travel will work?): it looks like you've boxed yourself in.
Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

Re: Screenie.
I like how, after killing the entire town, you still had like four or five barrels left over.
...and you hadn't even placed them for maximum efficiency. pretty spooky. I wonder how much of port kuudad you could undo.

Re: Screenie.
How did you manage to bring all those barrels there ?
I don't even think there are that many of them in Book 2.
Have you used the "delete map" so it can be refilled "cheat" ?
I wonder how many times have you deleted the same map

Re: Screenie.
There are 27 kegs of black powder in Book 2(edit - in Mistfell and Nor'land). Someone's been playing with the maps.
Re: Screenie.
Or just a character editor. I got inspired by this and have been playing around with a huge stash of stackable 0.1-pound powder kegs I edited into my char's inventory. :) It's a shame that you can't link up maps so you could construct some gigantic chain which destroys literally every single outdoor creature in Mistfell.Randomizer wrote:There are 27 kegs of black powder in Book 2(edit - in Mistfell and Nor'land). Maybe if there were some Ice-Nine available?xolotl wrote:It's a shame that you can't link up maps so you could construct some gigantic chain which destroys literally every single outdoor creature in Mistfell.
Funny thing about Bernie's map, though: he put more kegs out in the countryside, where they'd do no good whatsoever were they blown up, than he did in the church.
Personally, I would've started with the church. 20 kegs in the church -- 8 of them surrounding the priest -- and 7 in the record-keeper's office, what's her name, what's the actual name of the place? I forget, now.
EDIT: By the way, Bernie: your avatar is once again erroneous. Rogues don't make lines when they run.

I ended up moving a good chunk of those kegs back into town for the mass kill video.Evnissyen wrote:Maybe if there were some Ice-Nine available?xolotl wrote:It's a shame that you can't link up maps so you could construct some gigantic chain which destroys literally every single outdoor creature in Mistfell.

My rogue is running at Warp 6 with his Haul Ass enchantment. Those lines are height markers that appear slightly elongated from the speed. 0_o
Re: Screenie.
What's more, if you insert a powder keg with just the drop_keg script and weight 0, you have a potentially infinite supply of weightless powder kegs - when you right-click on them, they appear in the world, but do not disappear from the inventoryxolotl wrote:Or just a character editor. Re: Screenie.
Man, that is a lot of explosive barrels. I have found a few here and there, but nothing like that. It probable took some time finding them all. I have to say that the ability in Book II to move and place barrels, is pretty cool, and it allows for a lot of wild setups like the one in your screenshot. Although you couldn't actually pick up and move those barrels in Book I, I really liked the little goblins (i think that's what they were) with the barrels strapped to their backs. I got a kick out of that oneCrazyBernie wrote:This is what happens when I get carried away...
