completed the game, new versions?

just completed the game but can't find my saved games i've looked in the area defined on bottom of start page but my pc doesn't seem to have it anywhere, i wanted to show you all anyway gonna try hardcore now, thanks, by the way when new versions are issued i presume it is best to save older version of games played before completion so as to not start games all the way from the beginning, how many versions and updates does bg expect to issue ?

Depending on what's being fixed in bug updates, sometimes it is necessary to start over at the beginning in order to reset everything. Some people have reported that Windows makes the saved game directory invisible.

We know that BW is about to release 1.04 (as soon as he's cleaned up a few niggles) in final version, and I think he said there will be a 1.05 before or at the same time as he releases the first expansion content. Whether there will be more expansion content depends on a lot of factors like how well Book II is selling so that BW knows he can get started on Book III.

anybody know how to make the saved games in windows visible?
i hope all ends well for book too and the sun shines down on book 3
