I really enjoyed and still am enjoying "2 Worlds" more so than Oblivion, 2 Worlds II looks to be coming along very nicely.
You can Own a Shop and have someone manage it - the CRAFT "Complete Reshaping And Forging Technology" System sounds really good and a Stack more other things getting thrown into it - check out or Subscribe to the "Antaloor Post" for more info on the game.

Yea I liked 2Worlds more than Oblivion as well. It had its flaws but at least the world wasn't generic where all dungeons were the same. I quite enjoyed exploring around in the game.
Looking forward to the sequel.
Is it just me or is that video on the website choppy and does it make anyone else dizzy?

I tried looking at stuff, it was choppy and hung up my software program so I had to 'forcequit' to get back here.

I definitely enjoyed 2 Worlds more than Oblivion - especially because of the multiplayer capability. I'll be keeping an eye out on this title, for sure.

Re: 2Worlds II
I enjoyed Oblivion much more than Two Worlds. The translation to English in Two Worlds was horrible. Bethesda also allowed Oblivion to be heavily modded which has kept the game on my hard drive since it was released. The alchemy system is better in Oblivion too. That said, Two Worlds was a fine game on its own terms. It's too bad that the devs seem so jealous of Oblivion. They're always trying to compare themselves to it, saying that they're better.
To be honest, the graphics in Two Worlds II don't look any better than Oblivion with Qarl's Texture Pack and a few face/body mods. I'll be interested to see if TW2 can match a fully modded Oblivion. If they don't choose native English speakers for the voice acting, then they've lost the battle already.
Just my 2¢.
P.S. The one thing that Two Worlds wins hands down is releasing on a good schedule. TW came out after Ob and yet TW2 will be out before TES V. Good Work TW2 team!

Release date mid to end of this September - this time around I'm pre-ordering direct from website - I noticed if you sign up to the shop on the website you get a 10 Euro discount per title.
So for 52 Euro I get better Value including postage than the crap peddled here in Australia

Re: 2Worlds II
Hopefully Two Worlds 2 is a lot better than its predecessor. I personally thought the first game was pretty bad. The combat was really meh, there was a plethora of wacky bugs, the entire system of slapping a pair of swords, shields, etc... together to make a single better one was utterly ludicrous... On the other hand I did get a kick out of the brutally horrid dialogue, I truly hope that was just poor translation, truly. Still for all its faults the first game did have a nice open world and I could see the promise, I just couldn't ignore all those obvious faults.

Nice screenies.
I admit, I am intrigued by this (and it looks like there'll be a Mac OS edition of this game! YaY!!

Re: 2Worlds II
The first game had great intentions, but it didn't execute many of them to the level they could have been, and it looks like they fixed a lot of that in the sequel. This is one game that I am really looking forward to, but I'm unsure whether it will be a day one, as Halo: Reach releases on the same day (as well as Kamelot's new album).

Well the game is out in less than a week and the reviews are starting to come in. I've seen one somewhat positive review (7/10) and one not so positive review (5/10). I don't have the scratch for this game right now anyway but I'll be curious what people here think of it and I may scoop it up in the future. It would help if they put out a demo so I can try it out first.

Check this out.... the game has been out for a while across the pond... as a matter of fact, you can buy it from GoGamer for cheap. Not only that, but the full install has a "Trial version" built in! Unfortunately the only way I've seen to get it is to torrent the game.sirdilznik wrote:Well the game is out in less than a week and the reviews are starting to come in. So I downloaded it. Playing through the first chapter (what you're allowed to get through without a key), I was both impressed and annoyed. The controls were not all that responsive... it seemed to be suffering from some major consolitis. The graphics were pretty nice, but something about them irked me (probably the consolitis). The game also suffered from the same half-assed translation attempt that plagued the first one - although the first one didn't bother me all that much. This one grated a little bit more on my ears.
The crafting system is different from the first, which might appease some people who were complaining about the first's. I preferred the first's simplicity, but it's nice to have more options I suppose.
They're promising that the U.S. release is going to be much better - more bug fixes, better translations, etc. If they can't fix the sloppy controls though... I dunno that I'd want to spend the money. Maybe I'll pick up the European version and they'll use the same patch for some savings... 0_o

Re: 2Worlds II
Thanks for the input CB. I don't have the dough to spend on it right now but I'll keep my eye on it because for all it's faults the first game did have a lot going for it and I hoped that some of the shortcomings would be addressed. I gotta ask do they still do the half-assed Old English like in the first game? That's a real pet peeve of mine. It drives me bonkers when a game, and this isn't just a knock against Two Worlds since plenty of games have fallen into this trap, tries to do Old English, or any old and/or weird dialect and they half-ass it. Only do a dialect if you can pull it off well otherwise it sounds completely retarded.

Er... I'm pretty sure they dropped the Old English bit... I remember the English just sucked in general.
