Music

Post by Unreal2004 »

Ok I know this may be a weird question but I was wondering if there is anyway to copy or access the music files for the game? I think the music is very good and would like to have some just play in the background when I am not playing the game etc. Any info would be MUCH appreciated :)

If you bought the DVD edition of the game, those music files which BW can legally distribute any way he pleases are available as MP3s on the disk. At least, I think they're MP3s. Hmmm. I have to go grab the disk and look, maybe. Anyway, they're on the disk. Not all music in the game is licensed such that he can make it available separate from the game, though.

I didnt purchase it in physical form, I purchased it through Impulse as a digital download which worked great but if the music is on the CD :( :( It would be cool to be able to get the music from him maybe :)

Any more ideas? Can BW say if it was even included in any of the digital downloads? I would hope it was, I kinda feel cheated out of some great parts of the game now :(

It wasn't; the soundtrack files were specifically included as an extra incentive to get the DVD version.

I believe that there are some DVDs still for sale; BW has said in the past that he'd let people pay the difference if they wanted to "upgrade" from the digital version to DVD; it wouldn't hurt to ask, at least.

Edit: Although I don't know if that would be true if you bought it somewhere other than from Plimus, of course... Still wouldn't hurt to ask.
