Might this be a possibility? After all there are already voices (of a sort) in the game, all those "ooof" and "argh" attack/hit/death sounds.
It would surely make the story more immersive and give Book III modders more options for storytelling.

I agree it would be nice, but I'm not sure it would work with the style.
Me... there're a lot of other things I'd like to see before I see (well... hear) voiceovers.
Well... maybe little incidental voiceovers everytime you click on somebody to talk to them or attack them might be cool: like a talking doll. You click on them and they say something. Like, say, "What's the big idea?" or "We've got Baldur's Gate!"
