what is the max mp regen rate?
and how many meditation / perception do you need to get it?
ive browsed the forums and found differing answers.
healer with heavy armor -- does it work?
Re: healer with heavy armor -- does it work?
Max MP regeneration is five per turn. I'm pretty sure that the amount of additional MP you get with each level-up continues to go up, basically indefinitely.Morbius wrote:what is the max mp regen rate?
Not sure about that, really. Intelligence might factor into it, as does being a Druid (and hence, also whether you're underground or not - eventually a Druid can get to 5MP/turn even while underground), and possibly some other factors as well. I'm not sure if anyone's ever figured it out exactly. I just loaded up some saves, and my latest druid caster was getting 2MP/turn (outside) at 21INT, 44PER, 12MED, and getting 5MP/turn (everywhere) at 21INT, 49PER, 22MED. If that helps, at all.and how many meditation / perception do you need to get it?

Also...currently....I believe there is a bug from what i've seen that if you create a Divine caster...but instead of choosing Healer you choose say rogue....you get both Wisdom & Intel figured in for your mana per lvl and your regen.....for some odd reason when i create a divine/elemental caster that isn't a Magik User/Healer but another class....they start with MORE mana (even though their stats are the same) and they seem to regen mana at either the same or faster rates...it's odd....not sure why but it was mentioned to me that it could be a bug which would make sense....so....i'm sure it will get fixed.

ya, it helps. appriciate itxolotl wrote:If that helps, at all.

viktoras, ive read about this bug somewhere ... so are you saying that if you do play a healer (like me) you dont face this bug/exploit?
edit: im 99% sure you said that, but i just wanna be utterly sure.
ive playd some 25-30 hours. dont wanna prosper on some evil bug!
2nd edit: ive got the mistfell map. and ive found others too. those other regions apart from mistfell ... are they also available in this very game?
Re: healer with heavy armor -- does it work?
Correct. I usually play Paladin over a straight healer...so i guess it's an exploit cause i choose a fighter class....sorta a holy warrior....that's how i discovered it. However.....when i play a caster i choose Magik User or Healer

Re: healer with heavy armor -- does it work?
*sighs* tis good to know!
since im doing just fine.
even though im neither a min/maxxer nor an experienced eschalon player.
i did read some comments and still do.
ive certainly misspend some 10 tro 15 skill points.
but ... the points in medicine might have saved me from some seriously evil poison a coupla hours age.
and lore enabled me to use better equippment earlier without spending gold that i needed to buy new skills.
kay, i might just be justifying / rationalizing having spent all those points inefficiantly.
