Philosopher's Pendant or Manaflow Pendant?

First time I've rolled a Magic User. Which pendant is better?

Largely depends where you are in the game and how you're developing the character, but on my mage I always keep both on hand. Manaflow for actual combat magic and Philosopher's Pendant for when I need to learn new spells (as you can use items to raise your Int/Wis to learn that extra spell you couldn't without them, and you don't suddenly forget the spell when you take them off). It can also be helpful for regenerating mana at times if the added Per/Int gets you to that next regen level.
