With my newfound wealth (yeah right), I ended up purchasing a slew of gift codes for some excellent indie games (and car parts, and computer parts, and food parts, and gifts for family parts...). It started out innocently enough...
"Let's see, I could buy this copy of Left 4 Dead 2 for myself @ $29.99, or I could get six copies for the same price!"
Then: "Hmm... $19.99 for one copy of Trine, or $24.99 for eight copies!"
After I bought a 12-pack of World of Goo, I had to stop and try to figure out who I was giving all of these gift copies of games to. After all, I don't really have a lot of (gamer) friends... 0_o Then came to me.... what if I have a Holiday give-away for this bunch of indie games? Of course after I pondered that the Humble Indie Bundle #2 hit the "streets," and Notch announced gift codes for the Alpha version of Minecraft were available...
So here we (er I) stand (sit, really), with Gift codes for World of Goo, Trine, Minecraft, and The Humble Bundle #2, and I'm looking to gift them to some (possibly) less fortunate (than me?) people. BW has agreed to let me host the give-away here on the forums, and I've sent a flurry of emails to developers to cover my legal behind. I'm still hashing out the details, but I intend to pull this off over a 5-ish day period between Christmas and New Years. This is only a semi-official announcement, as the real thing will have some fancy disclaimer speak posted all over. There'll be a combination of random selection and participation involved, and anyone who's signed up on this forum can have a chance to get in on the indie goodness that is contained within! Additionally, there may be an extra, secret prize that will sneak its way into this "Bernie-Is-Crazy-But-I-Want-In-On-Those-Goods" gift-a-thon.

Please keep in mind that acceptance of any of these "gifts" will require some sort of valid email address, as some of them are Steam Gift Codes and require a valid Steam Account (or creation of one) to play. As I stated previously, this give-away is open to all registered forum members so all anyone needs to do is sign up and be prepared to post! Look forward to more disclaimer speak in the future, along with an "Official" announcement (Or maybe just the start of the give-away, whichever comes first 0_o)!
