Something odd

Post by HeavyP04 »

Just an idle thought I noticed on my most current playthrough; I checked and found that it was the same in all my save games. The writ that's needed to get through Raven's Gate is a Port Kuudad Writ. Like, it still has the whole schpiel about "This writ identifies this person as a citizen of Port Kuudad." Seems odd that since it's a different writ it should fall under the same heading as the rest, I figured it should say something different. Need to go back and check, but I'm fairly certain that it stacks with the other Port Kuudad writs as well, meaning that it's the same item? So why does only the one writ work at Raven's Gate while the others don't?

I've never noticed any writs NOT working at Raven's Gate. Sounds like time for an experiment. Collecting all the writs and testing them.

I remember the Writs as stacking since I gathered up the two in Broken Blade with the one from the wolf eaten body before I noticed the extra weight and dropped the two extras.

Yes, the writs are all the same - for quest purposes, the game only checks the names of items.
