We would love to port the Eschalon series to the iPad and Android-based devices. However, it is very unlikely to happen.
Unfortunately, the language we used for the Eschalon series is not compatible with modern smart phones and tablet computers. We originally selected this language because it allowed us to deliver the game on Windows, Mac and Linux, which were the major platforms in 2006. But, times have changed!
As you can imagine, the Eschalon games are comprised of a fairly large chunk of programming code, and porting the game to another language would be insanely time consuming. So, we have made the decision to finish out the trilogy using the current engine, and then for the next game/series we will switch to a language that is completely compatible with all the current portable devices.

Next game/series? Awesome! Why didn't I know about this..?
