Did i screw this up?

First of all i have triangular amulet. BUT i maneged to take it from cemetery after i killed the hive queen and sold her sting... Now i can't finish quest for Lilith. Also (i don't know if this has anything to do with main quest) I got to the vault in Blackwater and killed goblin and 3 guards. What can i do to continue game?

You can wander around the vault there in Blackwater and see if you can find something that the triangular pendant interacts with. It's possible to move forward from where you are, but you've made it more difficult for yourself by bypassing the bits that instruct you.

Yes, but now i have another problem.... I can't tell bartender name that would let me in secret room... I can just tell him my name or stay without name. What should i do?

Interesting... You have gotten into the room that leads to the vault before? You could try saving anywhere but blackwater, deleting the file, and simply walking back in. That should reset that map. Another option would be to simply bash down the entrance to the vault, or if you have lockmelt. (Is Lockmelt in Book I?)

I just tried to bash the door. It comes to object condition 1% and then nothing. Just stand there. Can't bash them. I think that lockmelt doesn't exists in book 1. I'm confused...

That's odd. I have no idea why the bartender wouldn't let you back in there if you've gotten in there once before. You cannot bash your way through that door, and while lock melt exists in Book I, there is no normal lock there to melt. The meta-option of resetting the Blackwater map may be the only way forward in that case as you cannot complete the game without getting what you need from the vault.

So, i updated Eschalon to version 1.3... Now i can reenter to vault BUT!... I checked every leaver and nothing worked... Do i have to wear amulet while i check leavers??? Or is it something else. I would appreciate every bit of help you can give me (even if it is a spiller..).

No, you shouldn't end up needing to wear the amulet when you try levers. I'm a bit confused as to where you are right now. The lever behind where the goblin was before you killed him will open the gate. You're vault though, can be found somewhere in the area of vaults. It is vault number 26. Look for that on one of the signs. Pulling that lever will result in access to your vault.

Yes i pulled that leaver behind goblin. And then killed goblin and guards... Next i tried every leaver in vault ( 2 times), but i'll try one more time. I just wonder do i need to get that quest from Lilith cuz as you know i am stuck on Hive queen quest ( i sold sting)... I'll post what happend. I really appreciate all your help. My next replay will come tomorrow.

So, i updated Eschalon to version 1.3...

You might want to upgrade to the actually-latest version of Eschalon, btw. Book 1 is currently at 1.06, and it's possible that you're running into a bug that got fixed in a later version (though I don't actually know if that's the case or not). To get a fresh download link for Book 1, you should send an email to info@basiliskgames.com with your purchase information, and BW will get you squared away pretty quickly.

Note that sometimes bugs in older versions will "persist" unless you start a new game (or at least reset the map in question).
