Chest Slider Bug
Chest Slider Bug
I was told there was a chest deep in Tanglewood forest with a weapon in it and that the combination was 167. I found such a chest in a house guarded by goblins in Central Tanglewood. However, my slider seems to be missing 167 (157 too). It goes 166 and then 168. Help please as I would like my weapon

I know what IceBear's saying about sliders. The number wasn't missing, as such, it's just the slider moves too damn fast to land on the number he needed... so it appears as if 167 doesn't exist.
Why don't you add arrow buttons to the sliders so that we can move them up and down one place at a time for fine tuning? Remember, the more numbers in the range the harder fine tuning is... arrow buttons would save a lot of unforeseen problems.

I thought that was what was happening, but I went and made sure I could do it at 117, 127, 137, etc. That's how come I knew 157 and 167 were missing. I believe there's a small click sound when you change numbers, so what I ended up doing (thinking I was sliding too fast) was getting to 166, and moving to the right so slowly it took 2s, heard a click and looked up and it was 168. I tried that s dozen or so times - even reloaded and much earlier save. The funny thing was, as soon as I shut down, applied 1.01 beta, and started back up I got to 167 first try so that's why I'm positive it was missing.PhilosophiX wrote:I know what IceBear's saying about sliders. Anyhoo, I do agree it would be better if you could type in the number or have some way of finer control

Then it's not that.... never mind the patch seems to have done something to it. Still buttons would be nice.
