YES! Now I'm stuck here and cant go further (Possible Spoil)

So I've been into Eschalon Book for some time, I finished Book: I, and just started Book: II yesterday, bought the game from Steam.

I just finished all the side quests from my journal, so I could get some levels and go for the main quest.

I killed the 23 beetles that I can't remember the name right now, and also killed the woman carrying the bow inside the house there in Broken Blade, she dropped a bag, but, she died close to the window inside the house, and in the other side of the wall there is a torch, so, I am here trying to click the bag for more then 30 minutes right now and I can't, all the mouse aims is the torch outside, I already took the torch and now the mouse points only the sconce. So, I guess inside the bag theres the key needed for the main quest, and now there is no way I can get it. OMG, what now? I Played 7 hours +, and I really don't want to start all over. Is there any other way?

If it's the key I think it is, there is another way to get another one. But, you'd have to steal it and be fairly high level to survive. That is if I remember correctly. I won't give any more clue than that so you can have the fun of finding the other key for yourself.

Hope this is true and not just something you said to keep me playing,
because I will get really mad if I play like 10 more hours, get like level 20, and find out there is not other way. lol

There is always a way. if you get 10 more hours in and are completely stuck, send me a private message and I'll make sure you become unstuck.

If you're patient or skilled, you don't really even need a key.

A mage spell to unlock doors and an invisibility potion do wonders for getting the second copy of the key. As long as no one sees you it's amazing what you can get away with in this game.

Just for everyone's info, this is a known 'kink'/bug in the Book II game engine - you can't ever click on lootsacks that drop behind wall-torches, wall-paintings, or wall-signs. One way around this happening is to go back to an earlier save, and "replay" the combat encounter with the NPC, etc. and try and "manage" the encounter so that the NPC 'kill' happens away from any wall with a wall-torch, etc.

I think we're all hopeful that BW will come up with a more permanent 'game engine fix' for this particular issue in Book III's game engine...

Man, I really gotta make 2 save files for each character, it is not working just in quick save, lol.

So I decided to make a Ranger, and I did, fine.

I went for the main quest directly and finished the game, Btw, ranger is ******* overpowered, damn!

But the point is, I want to explore a little more the map now, with the ranger, but I can't leave talushorn level 4, is there a way, even it is a cheat, just to move me outside the tower or a level a can walk back? I will not be cheating after that, I just wanna play the character a little more.

There was still some areas which I could not walk in to, a red message appears saying I am not ready, thats why I wanna explore.

Also, I never found the 2nd or 3rd, can't remember, quick travel place. Lol
