My first play through, I am pretty disappointed how it ended lol I feel like I wasted a ton of time making my character just to have it end and I can never use it again?
is there any way to go back from the crux room? I am assuming not?
Still have 4 bells in my inventory and only just learned what to do with them lol.
I suppose it gives me a reason to play it again but I won't be launching this for a couple weeks now... after all that time and BAM its over and never see your character again....
Oh and I never went into fathamurk either :\
I kind of assumed it was going to be an after thing seeing as it says its a new high level little expansion to the game.
Just finished

You mean because the game's over now? There are games where you can keep playing after the "end," but I don't think it's especially common.Blunthex wrote:My first play through, I am pretty disappointed how it ended lol I feel like I wasted a ton of time making my character just to have it end and I can never use it again?
No officially supported way, but it's not too hard. If there's stuff you haven't done that you want to go back for, you can use xolotl's editor to get out of the crux room.is there any way to go back from the crux room? I am assuming not?

And waiting for Book III isn't too bad. I finished Book II last March or so, and I'm still eagerly awaiting Book III. Sure you can't keep you're character, but what fun would it be to be able to kill everything without a challenge, even at the very beginning of the game? Just play other games while you wait, and Book III will be here before you know it.
Re: Just finished
Hi everyone!
I've purchased book 2 for christmas and just finished it. See attachments on how I did.
First of all the game is really great, enjoyable and replayable. I used to play on my Playstation 3 a lot but I don't now. Now I prefer indie games (like Humble Indie Bundles) on my Ubuntu box. I found out about this game on a Linux gaming site, although I don't remember which one. Actually I first downloaded the demo of the Book 1 and got thrashed with several characters (specialization is key as I have learned) but an overall impression was really good. I don't own Book I just the demo, so now I'm thinking I ruined the storyline since I started backwards with Book II. Anyway, the sense of progress is really great but I think the game is kind of short for an RPG. But maybe that isn't such a bad thing because if one wants to play more one can start with a new character with different playstyle.
In conclusion I want to thank you for making such a great game. Keep up the faith and keep up the good work.
Looking forward to a third installment!
P.S. Taking screenshot of the scorescreen with "p" doesn't seem to work.
Cheers,
Ante!
