[spoiler requests] On Ossuary and on Crakamir Rift

Post by Brother None »

It's odd that I'd suddenly get stuck on two points at the same time, since for the rest of the game all quests were nice and recognisably "classic model" and thus easy to solve.

But hell, I'm stuck.

1. I've just come out of Shadowmirk. I have 3 goblin keys and am sitting comfortable at level 11. But I have no idea, at all, how to pass the Crakamir Rift, and maybe I missed it in dialogue, but I can't remember anyone hinting how to either. I think I've cleared out every area in the game including hunting down frikkin' raptors, but the southern gate just isn't budging.

2. The Ossuary. Ok, so I just beat the ghost. Then I run into a walkway which is blocked by a lowered gate, and the lever is on the other side of the walkway. How do I pass that?

Great game. Look forward to the GameBanshee coverage, everyone! ;)

There are three ways into Crakamir, but none are just told to you...sometimes curiosity or a kind act can get you what you need.

Levers can be moved without actually having to touch them. How else can you affect objects at a distance?

Ok, that solves the Ossuary.

But unless I'm going to run into the solution for Crakamir there, I'd prefer if you were more explicit with your hints. Like I just said, I already ran all over the world map, I'm not going to run over it again just to hope I run into the solution somehow.

Looks like.

A question: I've already been in and out of Darkford for the matter to discuss with the captain. Once that's done you can't re-enter, right?

EDIT:
Also, I ran into the same tomb with the lock pin that's already been asked about twice in this forum. So I'll ask a third time: what's that tomb's pin number or where can I find it?

Correct- you get one shot at taking his key. If you leave, you can't get back in.

The third way into Crakamir is:

Tomb Locking Pin is given to you as a quest reward from Ooleseph the Tree.
