Blackwater hidden lever help

I started playing EB1 a couple of days ago. Now im in Blackwater and i can see a lever to the west-northwest of the town. How do I get to the lever?

You shouldn't need to until later in the game, though if you really want to know, read this spoiler.
That's a hidden portal room. There's a portal that will take you there from Crakamir (The final area in the game). It can only be opened from the inside though. It can be useful for regaining supplies.
