The Adventure is Over!

Post by Lord_P »

Just completed Eschalon: Book II! Not really much to say, I just felt the urge of posting it here. :)

No...no...the adventure is not over. Many questions remain unanswered, many dangers still to come.

If the adventure is over then where's that leave you?

But no - The adventure is certainly not over. What did you think of the ending?

Already seen that. Loved it.

Sure left many questions unanswered like BW said. SPOILER!
...
I think that the PC ended up in Wylderan, because of the strange trees, though they wouldn't be that strange if the character was an Emayu (native of Wylderan.)

Biggest damage I dealt was 119 damage. Guess that's an accomplishment, right? xD

Considering the highest single hit damage I've dealt is 97 I'd say that's quite a feat :D.

So does finishing a game. I always rather enjoyed the song, as it made me remember when I was playing.

finishing a good book series is even more depressing in my opinion. Especially finishing the Sword of Truth series.

Yes Leshpar. We know the feeling. When I finished Book I for the first time, I had to wait maybe a year until Book II came out. Then I beat that in march of 2011 (I believe that was the month). Yep - we've had to wait quite a while. Don't worry though - the day will come, even if it isn't as soon as we'd like.

Join the crowd. I found Book I a year before Book II came out. So, I waited a year for Book II and now 2 years for Book III. The only thing that makes it bearable is that they are such terrific games. And, you get to practice the virtue of patience.

I truly do feel bad about how long it takes to make these games. I know what it is like to suffer the wait of a game/movie/book you want.

I have never felt good about rushing things- even with Book II, I felt pressured to release it even though I thought 6 more months in the oven would have made it better (look at at all the updates and new content we put in after we released 1.0).

I do appreciate all the fans who are waiting patiently for this final game. We won't let you down. And hopefully, if Book III does well enough, we will bring in additional people for the next game- which means a better game with less waiting on your part.

I can't even remember when it was I found Book I. A few months after it first came out, I think, when it was mentioned in an Apple thing about games for the Mac.
