Penalty for killing Morgan?

Is there any penalty for killing Captain Morgan after I deliver the dying man's proof of a goblin conspiracy? I get 400 exp for killing him and just want to know if it's going to cause me trouble anywhere?

The only penalty as far as I can tell is that the wine bottles stops showing up for sale in the town shops. :wink:
