Rabbit's foot bugged?

Post by GSV3MiaC »

Not sure, but I think when I had a rabbit's foot (+6 to dodge) but no actual base dodge skill I was not seeing any missed attacks .. in a new game with dodge of only 1 (and no rabbit's foot yet) I see the effect. of course the old game was 1.01, and I'm now on 1.02, so that may be it? Or maybe the rabbit's footr is bugged?

Interesting, I had the same observation as well. I believe it is bugged. It does set your dodge level on your character sheet +6, but I never noticed any effects of wearing it as well in game (1.02).

I thought it was just me. :D

I think dodge is a % based on your skill level, so I don't know if the different between 1% and 6% would really be that noticeable; i. e. it would result in an extra dodge on average every 20 attacks which is pretty infrequent.

Yes, but I =never= saw it just wearing the amulet, whereas I see it once in a blue moon with a real dodge level of 1.

Something like this was posted on the support forum, but with a Hide in Shadows cloak. With just the cloak you never get the benefit, but once you've learned the skill the cloak starts working as well.

Yeah, that's what happened to me with the Cloak of Shadows, once you have at least one skill point invested prior to equipping the magic item with the bonus skill, the item starts to work. If you don't have at least 1 skill point of the specified bonus skill given by the magic item, it won't work.

I haven't tested this in patch 1.03 yet, so i can't confirm whether it's fixed or not.

No, I don't think it is.

I have added this to the list for 1.04.
