Loriac, yes you are right in general, but like I said already I'm talking in roleplay aspect/context.

What I mean:.

Yes, you specialize in some skill, but afterall still play in all-rounded manner just like I said ;)

I absolutely agree.

I think there are some very useful spells, which costs only 2 mana on 1st spell level, but even on 1st spell level they are very useful later on (especialy the spells with just "time growth"), and ok in the begining 2 mana is a fair cost, but later on even 4 or 6 mana it's nearly a free gift compare to the benefit :)

Yes the magic(k) can be balanced, but even right now it's ok and pleasant. Afterall it's better to be easy rather then very hard and frustrating. ;)

The game is a jewel :D
