I've gotten a concussion once... and I died, so I didn't need to worry about it ^_^.

I received another concussion, but this time Cure Ailment worked. Eschalon 3 is the first time I have experienced this. I upgraded my helmet.

Concussions are new in Book III. We probably won't see ad copy featuring it, though. "Explore an exciting new world! Battle over 20 new monsters! Subject your character to traumatic brain damage!"

Gilda, who is right up the road from Seawarden, is a healer. Maybe she could fix you, since she is nearby.

Yow! Somehow I got through 2.5 playthroughs before having a character get concussed. Nasty! I'd known the flag was there in the save file, but figured it was one of those unimplemented features like broken arms. When it popped up, I thought it was just a bug at first. And of course, with the concussion in effect, I was no longer alchemically gifted enough to mix myself a Cure Ailments potion!

It does seem like the kind of status which should eventually wear off, though I suppose some head injuries are worse than others. :) Anyway, a "nice" surprise.
