For my latest character, I tried to max out armor. I believe that by the end of the game, I had 98% chance to hit everything in the game, and they had a 2% chance to hit me, including the Dirachnid and Spire Guards. In theory I could have got a few extra armor points, too, if I could have found the top-tier gauntlets, boots, and leg armor.

Just (re) finished Book 1, load of fun to get back into that!
Got Destroyer this time around... I was wonder : "What if... I hit that one guy?".

Threw incinerator fuel in the mix, then went on a corner (to dodge only two at a time)... Halfway to level 18.

Would've been nice to get a third ending, or different ending text, but fun times!
