SKALD
Hello we few, we happy few, we band of gamers. Has anyone else tried the new game SKALD? I played a bit of it this last week. Some very interesting old school game play. Don't have a complete opinion, yet, as I haven't made it all that far through the game yet. It is very retro.

I just started playing also (restarted already because didn't like the char I generated initially). Haven't made it far into chapter 1, but have gotten through the prologue. Very retro, but interesting so far. I'm enjoying it at this point. As retro as it is, it definitely has some nice modern touches like save anywhere and a console (though haven't done anything with that yet).

Finished the game. It was definitely fun. The ending was abrupt, but fit the story. Will want to play it again after the next several rounds of updates are released to catch anything new or stuff I missed with the first play-through. For those that like the retro experience (think 80's-90's), the game did bring you back to those days. Side note, I did not have any issues with any bugs and did play on my big second monitor.
