Vampire?

Hello everyone, only been playing the game for about a few hours. I must say one of the things that impressed me ALOT was the day/night system, the way its effects visability, combat and such is brilliant !

So anyway it got me wondering, can you become a vampire ? Seems like it could be perfect with the nightime and visability and such.

Just let me know if it can occur or not, no spoilors thanks ^^

nope. No vampirism. Though in Book II it might be interesting for some *nocternal* races to be included to play from the start. Penalties in the day and bonuses at night/underground.

And you will sleep at day and voila only bonuses

Just like before taking the "Predator Sight" I mostly sleep at night.

Nigh/Day cycle is good indeed, but it's very quick and it's easy to skip, therefore a nocturnal race or class is hard thing to balance

Anyway it can be interesting - I'm not against it, I just doubt the possibility

Well, you do have the druidic and survivial abilities...

and nothing unbalancing about it. Most people/creatures sleep and move to the advantage of their abilities. Look at Bats as a perfect example.
