any modern dungeon master clones/remakes?
ive played all the classics to death (bloodwych, dungeon master, eye of the beholder, lands of lore etc. etc.)
wondering if some developer has thought to revive the genre?
i know about devil whiskey, but i didnt really like that game too much as it was too similar to bars tale series and i never really got into them.

Its Dungeon Masters engine, but a different game. At least it was when I tried to play it (Wasn't the same maps as the original DM).
Apart from that, I cannot think of any unfortunately. Would be a great thing if somebody did a new game along the same lines.

yeah i believe i tried the java remake some time ago. was a tearful nostalgia trip to be sure.
pity that lots dont see the merit in such rpg's and create some new versions.
isometric is all very good, but first-person had its followers for sure.
