Hi there,
Someone posted about this game in my Ultima Online fansite forums, so I gave a try to the demo. I liked it (after some char advancement issues and some game-restart-retries), so I wanted to buy it but... the order site keeps with this message (3 hours retrying from time to time now):
Unfortunately we were unable to process your credit card at the moment, this may be due to an invalid Billing Name, Billing Address, Card number, Expiration Date, and/or Security code. Please verify that all information is correct and try again
I assure you that my info is correct, as is the same I use on any online payement. Or well, that's what I think at least.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

The company who handles our billing is called Plimus. They actually have fairly good customer service. On their website at http://plimus.com you can go to the support link and send them an email explaining your problem with ordering. They are usually quick to respond.
You can also try another billing method- PayPal, or wire transfer, or by phone (call in and let a customer service agent take your information).
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info... anyway I checked the support but I saw it only available to people with reference number, something I didn't have.
Anyway, after some retries and failures even with PayPal, and after checking my bank's online tool, I noticed that I had left only 1$ for my VISA... I forgot about the 300$ limit I set to it, and that this was December... so I had to use MasterCard instead.
Now I just received the "thank you" email from Plimus and I'm waiting for the download info...

F*** this.
This is not my lucky day. I leave my room 1 min to have a glass of water, and when I get back I have a "missed call" on my cellphone, someone from 1858..... Then I check my mail again to see if the order has been processed, and I get an email from Pilus or whatever telling me that the order cannot be processed due to "inconsistent contact / billing info".
And yeah, I checked the site and their phone numbers start by 1858.... I'm now waiting for their reply to my email asking what happened exactly. I don't see a reason why someone has to call to my cellphone.

No need to say sorry, I understand that. It's just that I was playing the game (well, that was some hours ago) and was stuck with those "buy to continue your adventure" messages, so I went like a yonkee to buy it so I could continue playing. And here I am, 6 hours later, still waiting for an email. The bad thing is that it's late night here so I will have to do it tomorrow.BasiliskWrangler wrote:I'm sorry Katixa...just remember- these "safety precautions" are meant to protect you from someone else illegally using your credit card.
