Blackwater Tavern - Unbreakable Door?

Was trying to do a speed run and have the amulet from Lilith; though sadly she had to die to get it. Now, if I remember correctly, eeru in Blackwater Tavern should give me the secret name when trying to rent a room but he doesnt. So I try to break down the door of the lever room. I hit it 20ish times while the door Object Condition went down to 5% and then stopped. I now hit the door and the object condition doesnt show and the door remains locked.

Can this door be broken open?

no, it can't.

and you don't remember correctly: you have to find the name on a piece of paper in town before you can register under it.
