The only thing left is a graphic display corruption from Book II.
Did you try the obvious (reboot and plya Book I without any offer action)?
If this works, it's definitely a glitch with display driver when exiting Book II.
If not, the issue might be harder to track down (and I won't be of help dur to my lack of Mac experience)...
