How long to verify purchase?

Post by Warmskin »

First, let me say that I realize that these things take time. I purchased the game on-line about 2-3 hours ago. I got the impression from the purchase page that I would be receiving a couple of e-mails soon to verify my purchase. Usually when I buy something on-line I at least get a msg immediately telling me that I'll soon hear something. Nothing yet. Again, I understand all companies are a little different in response, but seeing that I've pretty much exhausted the demo, I'm kind of itching to play. Anyway, could you let me know? I'm *not* complaining. I just want to make sure everything went through. Thanks.

Usually Plimus handles these things within minutes.

If you have not gotten anything, not even a confirmation email, check your SPAM folder. Make sure nothing was caught.

Email me (I need your name) and I can look to see why Plimus is hanging on to your order so long.

my original Plimus email was filtered to my Spam folder. I didn't immediately notice it there, even though I did think to look, because a bunch of other Spam I'd gotten over the past weeks since I'd last cleaned out the spam folder, had post-dated delivery dates. So, the Plimus email was actually buried behind a bunch of other spam even when the list was sorted by date.

(I use Yahoo mail, so presumably everybody who uses Yahoo will have their Plimus emails sent to the spam folder.)

Horace2: I too have yahoo mail and believe me I checked thoroughly every possible mailbox and Plimus just didn't send it to me. Everything's fine though - "BasiliskWrangler" personally saw to it that I got the file. That's service! Thanks for the feedback. Have fun.
