Just wanted to tell the Basilisk team that I really enjoyed this game.
I spent most of last month lunch breaks on it and had a very good time.
As an old gamer, it reminded me the time I spend on Bard's tale and ultima3, more that 20 years ago...
As with all good games, I am excited to see the end, but sad as I would like it to last longer
You can be sure I will buy Eschalon II.

I'll chime in as well. I saw this reviewed on GameTunnel a while ago and picked up the demo. I played it for just about two hours until I bought the full version for the same reason I bought Devil Whiskey oh so many years ago; I have very fond memories of playing these types of games on a PCjr in the mid-80s. By now I'm only about five hours in - of course, I had to reroll my character once I got a feel for the more important stats and skills, which only enhanced that throwback feeling.

As soon as preorders are available for Book II, I guarantee I'll be right there in line.

It took me a month, but today I finally finished the game too.

Thanks a lot Basilisk. This game was just about perfect.

I'm an older gamer and like many here, grew up playing Questron, Ultima, Eye of the Beholder, etc. You guys took all the great gameplay of those classics and mixed it with modern graphics and sound.

I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this.

I think it deserve to be called the best game in years and I will absolutely play it again.
