Allies & Pets

One of the most amazing things I saw in BookI was when I was retreating back to a town, the villagers would help slay off monsters. Also, in rare case scenarios 2 different monster types would hurt each other. The 3rd scenario is when your in town and people attack you for commiting a crime. This is truly beautiful when people interact this way, but I would be really excited to see more.

A couple ideas:
- Villagers when see a crime, will head back to grab guards. Guards do not have to physically exist in the game, but will be automatically summoned upon particular scenarios.
- Monsters to be "charmed". Perhaps even a whole new class type you could choose, but the ability to let one of those skeletons/bandits or what have fight with you seems like an amazing idea.
- Pets. How about a whole another store that sells these. They could just (A) give a small stat and then they appear on you unable to be hurt or (b) actually act as another thing to help you with in battle.
- NPC's follow with you to do a mission.

I just really enjoy the fact I have interaction with NPC's with and possable something else under my control.
