Re: Nemesis: The Wizardry Adventure
"It's very clear from the box and packaging that this is not intended to be a new Wizardry RPG. The subtitle proclaims "A Wizardry Adventure," meaning we're to expect something closer to a Sierra game than a Wizardry title. In truth, Nemesis has nothing to do with Wizardry except that Sirtech made it and wanted to use their highly visible, trademarked series name to give it some added cachet. There is no overlap in story, world, or content with the other Wizardry titles; this is a straight adventure game with some modest combat and spell casting for beginning to intermediate gamers. As such, it's quite a handsome one."
I would note that this is one of the few games out there where the "User" score is lower than the "Critics" score on gamespot. Not that I really go by critics scores to begin with.

I own a physical copy of it, it seemed decent from what I played of it. Unfortunately something's wrong with my copy or something and when it asks me to change to Disc 2 the game crashes out when I open my disc tray.
This was on my old Win95 I'm talking about here.

By the way, HMMonk . . . do you really look like that avatar in real life?
If so, I must commend you on your . . . um . . . intriguing physique.

Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

Ha! Fist of the North Star! Haven't seen that in years.

Re: Nemesis: The Wizardry Adventure
Discotek is actually bringing out a full and proper version of the Fist of the North Star movie in the US within the next month or so. Furthermore, if you go to Funimation's website and check their video section, you can watch all hundred and some odd episodes of Fist of the North Star subtitled in English at no charge. I think a similar availability is supposed to be happening for Galaxy Express 999 on there as well.

Yeah, I actually have them on my harddrive because I don't like streaming long videos but I'm glad I'm not the only one here who appreciates this stuffgetter77 wrote:Discotek is actually bringing out a full and proper version of the Fist of the North Star movie in the US within the next month or so.
