Thanks for the heads up. The name of the game didn't ring any bells but when I saw it was by the same people who made Samorost and Samorost2, then that automatically makes this of great imnterest. Those games were very cool!

The artwork is beautiful. But will there be a demo?

I hope so, because it looks interesting; but the trailer just isn't enough, for me.
Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

Well the Full version Of Machinarium was released yesterday to all the people who Pre-ordered this wonderful game - I assume the Guys released the Title at the Time zones who started 1st on the 16th and worked there way through to make it easier on servers - everyone who pre-ordered received a special download link ( that had country code and your pre order number ) and I got mine just before I had to goto work so downloaded the Music tracks pack 1st and luckily the game 5hrs later.

No system of delivery is perfect but when you see Abuse being thrown at these guys on there forum because people haven't received links yet or the server is timing out all the time when they try to download the game etc you have to wonder how impatient we Gamers have become. The Machinarium Forums are now in Lockdown and it is revealed that some nice Russian fella thought it would be a Good idea to post his Pre-order links on a forum where a possible 1000 or more thieves were downloading the game for free and killin the servers - I feel for the Machinarium team they like so many other indie devs deserve alot more than to have 3 years of hard work Raped in a matter of minutes.

By the way "THE GAME IS FREAKIN AWESOME"

Demos for Windows and Mac. Trying the Mac demo. Kind of cool puzzle-solving game. Not RPG or anything, but very cute so far (20 minutes into playing).

It's a very pretty game, but the single solution makes it not very replayable, for me.

I tried it out a while ago, and to be honest I found it rather lame. The replay value is nil, and the storyline is... not to my taste. But the graphics were okay.
Nothing is something, because it is the state of the absence of everything, as well as being a word in the english language and an idea formulated by mankind to attempt to describe the conception of the lack of everything.
