Eschalon Graphics

Post by Riggon »

I was wondering how the graphics were created for Eschalon? Were they rendered in a 3d application or drawn in an image editing app like Photoshop? Don't worry, I'm not trying to hack anything, I was curious because Eschalon graphics are unique from all other game graphics I've seen before. As an amateur digital artist/3d enthusiast I'm always wanting to know what methods are used to generate the graphics for the games I play.
Nothing is something, because it is the state of the absence of everything, as well as being a word in the english language and an idea formulated by mankind to attempt to describe the conception of the lack of everything.

There are posts somewhere buried in the forums where BW talks about the specific programs he used. The closest I could find in a quick skim was this post:

I know there are more details, though, somewhere. There are only a few thousand posts to look through to find it. ;-)
