Love that bridge over the chasm near the end of the trailer, and that flash of the skull. I think that one spot was blowing down a door with powder kegs, right? Love the big mean beetles, too. Just so much cool stuff in that trailer making me wonder about all of those places. The river of lava. I don't remember that from CrazyBernie's map, but I'm sure it's another of those fine-print issues.

Dwarven miners in this one, but they look really pissed off.

That stun from the beetle is going to make for some interesting tactics.

SPOILERS ahoy!...

Love the beginning with the Thaermore map (and I notice that is not the same map as in Book I, but a newly drawn map! )

It's good to see that there will probably finally be a use for that Element Armor spell (though I'm actually not sure that would even work to denfend against those beetles!).

Winter scape with wolves - very cool. Fight with dwarves! Also neat - lava flow!!

New spells: Draw Water (which we knew about); Toxic Element(?! - is this like Poison Spray for Mages or something?...); and Summon Beast(! - Divination? Or Elemental spell?...).

I kind of wish we could have gotten a look at the new Key Ring, and the revised character creation screen, but those are minor quibbles.

Really looking forward to uncorking this game come about late May or June when I can spend some time on it...

New map, lava river, monster summoning.

I liked the little box that appears to hold your active effects but it was too small for me to see what they were.

Also, white wolves in the arctic region, very nice.

Wow. You guys really know how to put together a teaser. You gave us a lot of information while simultaneously giving us tons more questions.

Now I KNOW that I'm in for several months of gameplay, so many new features to try out. So many tweaked features to experience. So many challenges to accomplish. And so many new options for figuring out how to twist the game's mechanics to my personal benefit and enjoyment.

And I see now that our character is a little taller!

The weather effects look brilliant...

You guys are REALLY putting yourselves on the map here! I mean Book I was of course awesome, but Book II?

Even not having played a single step yet, I'm willing to say. Well worth the wait.

Also nice to see Lewis the fighters "son" making his way through Eschalon.
