And what's wrong with
linear, eh, Iane? Eh?
But... I'm really not into FPS games, anyhow, so... whatever.
Apparently the people who produced this game are among those trying out these new, ludicrous methods of creative 'copy-protection', in this case requiring you to create and maintain a Steam account.
...But if it doesn't bother anyone, I suppose there's no reason to complain. (Except that according to the posts on Amazon it apparently
does bother a bunch of people.)
Oh, well.
At least it's not as bad as
Assassins Creed's protection method.
Methinks maybe some of these developers are stabbing themselves in the foot -- or some other highly valued bodypart -- with these hysterical attempts to protect their product from pirating.
(By the way, Iane: I think I like your new avatar... scary, but strangely appealing.)
Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.
