Trapkill floor traps

Post by wayninja »

I'm probably missing something simple, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to cast trapkill on floor traps.

Any advice?

If you've detected on or more, stand next to the red square, have pointer on that square and cast Trapkill. If it is high enough it will 'kill' that one and any that are close by. If it is not high enough, you end up stepping on the trap and setting it off. I may have missed a step here, I've done it so often it has become automatic! :)

That doesn't work for me either:
Trapkill, Level 6:
You must target a non-living object to cast this spell!

humm, right clicking ought to do it..if you have it chosen. BW? Possibly you should check with him and/or send your save file at that spot so it can be checked. Always worked for me. Shrug.

Here is my savefile.
It was too big for an attachment, so I've put it on my webspace
slot20.zip

Please tell me when you're ready, so I can remove it from my webspace

Edit:
save file removed

Got it. This looks like it is a minor bug.

I can fix it for Monday's release of 1.02.

Glad to see it wasn't just me. Thanks for posting a savegame, I've been out all day and thanks for looking into it and getting it fixed.
