Confused!

I know that there is a post listing some of the spells in the game, but many
are missing, leading me to my questions- 1] are all of the spells from book 1
in the game,[book 2] ? 2] are there any spells that are new for book 2, that
were not in book 1? what are those spells?
also I have searched and searched and repeatedly shoped and waited, and
did the reloading thing at shops and I still cant come across any powerfull
elemental damage spells, I have portal, but I believe thats my only 3rd tier spell. so what am I doing wrong? is there any potent elemental damage
tier 3 spells?

Not all the spells in Book 1 are in Book 2 and some of those in Book 1 were changed a bit. There are more spells in Book 2, now have snowballs besides fireballs! (not the name of the spell by the way, just the way I refer to it).

There is tier 3 elemental spell called Ice Lance, does about 80 damage per 49mana. Another very good spell is Abyssal Freeze, about 60 damage to a single target for 29mana and its a tier 2 spell. Fireball [tier 2] is also nice because it have an area of effect and it can be cast at chests, barrels, doors.
