I had the same problem for a while. Near the bottom of the page you will see the word "DOWNLOAD:". Right beneath it is a choice of game editor or game hints. Click on Game Editor.
However, you will still have a problem. The zip file is password protected.
You all are mighty trusting of some fellow who wrote a patcher for a demo/unregistered version of Book II. I'd be checking that code over carefully before running it. 'Cheating' aka Trainer Program is easy enough to do with a basic hex editor and 2 minutes of your time experimenting, or by using a memory editor (ie: ArtMoney). I don't know what the official policy is regarding save file editing, but I expect BW is laissez-faire given xolotl's Book 1 character AND map editor that is openly discussed in this forum. Just my opinion.
Well, a few reasons. Maybe later if I think the gold is too skimpy ( I have heard this) in the game then I might want to get gold so I can buy the strong magic items. Personally I think in rpgs the player should be given plenty of gold so they can afford the cool magic items, it makes the game fun. And if I think as I play the game more that maybe I screwed up my character in picking wrong skills I would want to adjust that, I would do it so I was not giving myself extra points just correcting mistakes I may have made. That is about it for why I would use the trainer.
I don't intend to offend anyone. Maybe this trainer would be useful for somebody out there or not at all. It just an option, if you don't like it don't use it. Frankly, i've been playing this game for 2 days and i think this game is quite good. I don't use this trainer if it's on my profile, that wouldn't be interesting for me. But in certain situation (make your nephew amazed) this trainer is the solution cheers.
