Stuff I'm Looking Forward To

I'm actually not finished with my first play-through of Book II yet, but I wanted to make note of a few of the things I'm already looking forward to based on the tantalizing bits I've seen so far.

• 1) Yoma Springs Cavern - I really want to see what's in there.
  2) The stairs in Farrock Caves - Also, really want to see what somebody felt the need to seal off.
  3) Dragons in Book III - Seriously, that skeleton downstairs in Lockston Hall makes me REALLY want to see what it'll be like to fight one of those.

Dragonlady is resting on her bed of gems and you need to bribe her with some large ones to pass in order to finish a quest.

Oh, those stairs in the caves are driving me nuts too. I got all excited after I blew up that wall and saw the staircase, only to growl as the game wouldn't let me go down them.

I have this feeling that we never get to go down them. They're just there to tantalize us.

Another thing I find myself wondering about as I've started setting up a mage play-through (took a few tries before I remembered to save at the start after creating the character--oh, and never accidentally right-click when trying to pick up a powder keg if you have fire dart readied): Who's the woman in the painting in your house? I'm betting this is going to come up in Book III. I don't think BW put it there by accident.
