I've got a question about a player's "Hidden" status (hopefully, Farwalker's still around to see it!):
Can you get "Hidden" status in 'dark' conditions if you do something like cast a 'Chameleon' spell?
Or does "Hidden" status only show up in 'dark' conditions with points in Hide In Shadows?...
TIA.

Re: "Hidden" Status question
On a stormy night in Port K standing where the light from all nearby torches had run out I was hidden without any points in Hide In Shadows, so it is possible. I wasn't even standing next to anything. It was just REALLY dark.

Re: "Hidden" Status question
Storms at nights cause total blackness, so you're hidden.
Re: "Hidden" Status question
Cool. Thanks for this.
But has anyone tried to see if casting the Chameleon spell "aids" in obtaining 'Hidden' status?
Because, to my thinking, it should. So I'm trying to determine if this is already in the mechanics of Book II, or whether I need to add it to my Book III 'Wishlist'...
