why places i cant go? "turn back, your fate awates else..."

i have done every thing i can on the game...i even whent to the ending tempel to finish the game. later i unsaved and am now wandering around hopeing to find somthing new. how come some places i cant go. i mean it looks like a place you could go but then it sais "turn back, your fate awates else where" or "theres nothing more in this direction"

Those are areas where the next map section doesn't exist. They are left with passable borders in the event new material is made for those areas.

BW is planning an expansion of Book 1, but hasn't stated where you will get to go.
