Question about disease

I've just been diseased by a dead body I searched (nice touch by the way) and was wondering if it will get better in time or get worse and have to find a healer.

Diseases must be cured; your body does not get rid of those on it's own.

There are potions and spells to do the trick, or go speak to the nearest Priest. If you like looting corpses, get your Disease Resistance score up and always have a cure disease flask in your backpack.

Thanks for the tip

My character died soon after getting that disease (Those oozes are a pain) So I'll just have to carry around some potions if I want to rob the dead

I really like the fact that disease is a serious inconvenience with multiple disadvantages, and not something that fades away.

Does poison ever work its own way out of your system, or do you just keep dropping HP until you cack it?

Usually it goes away within one healing potion, atleast in the start of the game

Btw im diseased too

and the pries wants 1000 !!! to make it go away (if i'm not mistaken)
