How do you blow up powder kegs?

Post by Bergtooth »

Well the title says it all. Maybe I was dropped as a child, but I can figure out how to explode the barrels and the Steam version doesn't have a manual so I am at your mercy.

Or if you're not carrying any ranged weapons and you're a big enough tough guy, just whack it with a melee weapon :)

A level one fire dart spell will do it as well!

If you're a scanner, all you need do is will it so.
Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

I always keep ten or so Stones in my inventory for this purpose. You don't need any points in a weapon skill to hit an inanimate object, so don't worry about the "Weapon Penalty" debuff, just equip some rocks, walk AT LEAST two squares away from the barrel, and hold Shift and click to chuck a rock at it. One should do it, though sometimes you get a poor damage roll and have to use two. On a related note, keeping a couple vials of Demon Oil I in your inventory to burn away barrels and debris is not a bad idea, either.
