Problem in fathamurk cave

iam on lvl 14 and now in this cave. The door is closed and i cannont go back. When i try do walk trough the door in the room with the leaver, i die. 350dmg is too much, as i have only 86.

Is there any chance to get out of that if iam to weak for that lvl? Savegame is to late, because i saved after the door closed when i came into that cave.

I can quit with this game, if there is no chance to get back with my char. Is it realy possible that there is no chance in eschalon to get back if you get into such cave with to low lvl???

Go the other way first and pick up an explosive barrel. Put that under the gate that keeps dropping on you, then flip the switch.
